These are the fully auto softeners based on counter current mode of regeneration to give vary good quality soft water through out the cycle .No attention is required to operate the plants. Different models based on the out put & flow rates are available to cater the need of customers. These plants are simple & needs less space for the installation.
Product Description ::
The series of New Generation (NG) Fully Automatic (NGFS) incorporates the proven technique of counter flow regeneration, pioneered by Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. Counter flow involves the flow of brine used for regeneration and the flow of raw water during the service, in opposite directions. This ensures that the average residual hardness in treated water is constantly less than 5 ppm as CaCO3 throughout the cycle.
220 (in sodium form) is used to exchange sodium ions for hardness forming calcium and magnesium, and thus produce soft water. At the end of each service cycle, the ion exchange resin is regenerated with brine solution, after which the unit is ready for the next service cycle.
The NG series of fully automatic softeners currently comprises of three models with maximum flow rates 5, 10 and 16 m3/hr.
