INDIAN NG SERIES SEMI AUTOMATIC SOFTENERS
Introduction ::
These are the new generation softeners based on counter current mode of regeneration to give consistent quality of soft water through out the cycle. Different models are available, based on the flow rates and out put to cater the requirement of customers. These softeners are designed to operate on semi automation mode.
Product Description ::
The NG series of softeners incorporate the proven technique of counter flow regeneration, pioneered by Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. This technique is ideally suited to treat water having high hardness. The direction of water flow during operation and that of the salt solution used to regenerate the unit are opposite to each other. Treated water is produced with consistent, low residual hardness of less than 5 ppm as CaCO3 throughout the cycle.
220 (in sodium form) is used to exchange sodium ions for hardness forming calcium and magnesium, and thus produce soft water. At the end of each service cycle, the ion exchange resin is regenerated with sodium chloride solution, after which the unit is ready for the next service cycle.
The NG series currently comprises a total of eight models with four flow rate. The different between these is in the total volume of cation exchange resins used.
